While our Birmingham, Michigan, location first opened in 2005, I joined State Farm back in 1986 and have been a proud insurance agent protecting Oakland County since 2000. Our office is happy to help Good Neighbors throughout Oakland County, from Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, and Troy to Royal Oak, Pontiac, and Clawson. To help make things extra simple for you, we provide a wide range of coverage options to make our office your one-stop-shop for all things insurance. Having grown up learning about the insurance field, I have dedicated my life inside and out of the office to helping those around me wherever the opportunity appears. I love helping our local community as a member of the Birmingham Bloomfield and Rochester Chambers of Commerce. I also proudly support the Michigan Animal Rescue League and Michigan Humane Society. Carol Laske-Office Manager and Account Representative--Carol has over 40 decades of insurance experience working for several State Farm Agents. She came to my agency in 2007 and I can't imagine a day without her impressive knowledge of insurance that I heavily rely on. She is licensed in all lines of insurance. She is a Michigan native from Fraser. She attended Macomb Community College. In her free time you will likely catch her with a book in her hand. A fun fact about Carol is that she hopes to train a Carin Terrier as a service dog!! What makes Carol such a stand out in her field is her never wavering desire to help our policyholders in anyway!

Thomas Merten--Multi-Line Representative- Tom joined our team in 2019 with 20 years account management experience. His role is business development; customer appointments and marketing. He is a Michigan native and a Central Michigan University alumnus. He enjoys an adventure and has been known to jump out of a perfectly good airplane; he went skydiving in his 20's! He welcomes the opportunity to help customers determine what is most important to them with sound guidance and direction. His attention to details helps our policyholders know their options so they can make the appropriate decision for their insurance needs.
